Yangstil – Taiji Quan

Taiji Quan is arranged in the inner martial arts. It assembles of motions with and without weapons (motions), applications and partner exercises.

The interplay and interaction of Yin and Yang are reflected in every motion of Taiji Quan. It develops steadiness, balance, inner strenght and improves the awareness of vital energy (Qi). Taiji Quan combines concentration and relaxation simultaneously and improves body fitness.

The slowly performed motions are consistantly floating and altering, combining inside and outside, teaching to let loose, to beliefe in oneself and to feel strong and safe.
The partner exercises are serving the contention with the You. They are a game of balance, of gathering and delivering, neutralizeing, deflecting and forming of powers – to the point where undesigned actions (Wu Wei) are reached.
